The Torridon Mountains

Airdaniar Cottage is an ideal walking location for all levels of fitness and experience.  Torridon is only 25 miles along the coast road, and the Achnashellach hills can be reached over the famous Bealach na Ba, the pass of the cattle.

In Torridon, there are low level walks through spectacular mountain scenery.  One of these is the route around Liathach, and another is the walk to the impressive Coire Mhic Fhearchair of Beinn Eighe.  In the cottage there is a book which provides full details of these walks.  For the more adventurous, and experienced, there are high mountain traverses.
